Motorola rolls out stable Android 11 update to Moto G8 & Moto G8 Power

Motorola announced Moto G8 & Moto G8 Power last year running on Android 10. As per the list released by Motorola last year, both of the devices are eligible to receive Android 11. However, the list provided no further details regarding the availability of the new software. After four months of Beta testing, Moto G8 & Moto G8 Power users are finally grabbing the Stable Android 11 update.

The latest Android 11 software brings the firmware version number RPE31.Q4U-47-35 for Moto G8 & Moto G8 Power. Also, the build carries the February 2021 security patch.

The update is rolling out in a staged manner which means it will be available to limited users at first. Furthermore, the build is currently available in Colombia and will soon drive to other regions as well.

Motorola Moto G8

Moto G8 was packed on March 2020 with Android 10 powered by Qualcomm SM6125 Snapdragon 665. The phone flaunts a 6.4-inch IPS LCD display with a Water-repellent coating on top. It is available in a single storage variant of 64 GB + 4 GB RAM. If we talk about the camera, the device has a triple primary lens of 16 MP wide +8 MP ultrawide + 2 MP macro sensors and a single 8 MP cam for selfies.

Motorola Moto G8 Power

The phone debuted with a 6.4-inch IPS LCD screen in February 2020 powering Snapdragon 665 and Android 10 out of the box. The phone offers an expandable memory option with 64 GB + 4 GB RAM as default storage. Moto G8 Power houses a quad-camera module at back consisting of 16 MP wide, 8 MP telephoto, 8 MP ultrawide, and a 2 MP macro shooter. On the front, it has a single 16 MP wide lens.
