It was speculated that Nexus series is going to be ditched by Google if it comes with Silver series but nothing is going to happen to the Nexus series. As according to David Burke, head of engineering for Android and the Nexus program said in an interview to ReadWrite that people can expect a Nexus device to come out when Google releases a new named Android version.
Finally, a speculation has ended as its now confirmed that Google is going to continue with Nexus devices and might come with run Silver series program next year. “Android Silver is not something that we are commenting on right now. But the prospect of Silver doesn’t mean that Nexus is going away. People have been commenting about Nexus because there is something else and they think that means the end of Nexus. That is the totally wrong conclusion to make,” Burke added.
Well one more thing is now confirmed that when Android L will be officially released we can expect for new NExus device may a HTC Nexus tablet or something else.
