Nothing OS 1.5.0 teased by Carl Pei, seems to be the Android 13 Beta

Nothing’s easy-going approach towards the Android 13 update is already well-confirmed by Carl Pei a couple of months ago. In the smartphone market, where Samsung, Xiaomi, OnePlus and other OEMs are already rolling out stable Android 13 for their flagship and even mid-range smartphones, Nothing yet started the Android 13 Beta under Nothing OS 1.5.0.

While confirming the exciting update, Carl Pei via Twitter shared an image of the Nothing Phone’s About Menu with the Software version – Nothing OS 1.5.0. However, there’s no exact information about the Android 13 Beta Programme, but Pei confirmed it is coming “Soon”.

There’s already an uproar about the delayed Android 13 rollout for the Nothing Phone 1. Given that there’s only a single smartphone the company has to provide an update. Answering such questions, Carl already stated that version numbers and specs do not matter.

Now, it would be interesting to watch when the Nothing Phone 1 gets a stable Android 13 update. However, we await further details about Nothing OS 1.5.0 in the coming few days.
