It’s been only few days since OnePlus launched their newest flagship, the OnePlus 5T. And now they are back again with a new variant of their 5T. This new variant comes in a beautiful Lava Red color.
The entire body of this new OnePlus 5T variant comes in Red color except for the front which is entirely black. Even the keys on either side of the device as well as the fingerprint sensor is in Red color. To be exact, OnePlus calls this color as ‘Lava Red’.

But, it is worth nothing that though the color is different, the specifications remain the same. Under the hood, it is powered by the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor. But, it comes only in 8GB RAM and 128GB ROM variant which is not bad. On the front, it sports a 6.01 inch FHD+ Optic AMOLED display with an aspect ratio of 18:9 which became a standard for flagships this year.
For optics, it comes with a dual camera setup at the back. This setup consists of 16MP and 20MP sensors both with an aperture of f/1.7 ditching the telephoto lens. For selfies, there is another 16MP shooter at the front. This camera also helps in unlocking your phone (Face Unlock). The device runs on OxygenOS based on Android Nougat and is backed by a 3,300mAh battery with support for Dash Charge.
As for the availability is concerned, this new Lava Red variant of OnePlus 5T is China exclusive for now. There is no word from OnePlus regarding its international availability.
