Official ColorOS 7 update Roadmap for India – Oppo F15, F9, A5 and many others in line

Oppo announced the Android 10 based ColorOS 7 in November 2019 in India. Interestingly, the Oppo has finally announced the ColorOS 7 update rollout plan for devices in India. The new update will be made available for many Oppo smartphones before the months of June and July 2020. The devices like Reno 10X, F15, F9, A5 2020 and many other devices will receive the Color OS 7 update in India.

Oppo is commencing the ColorOS 7 stable update outside China for the first time. In today’s announcement ColorOS 7 rolled roadmap is given. You can see the list of Oppo smartphones that are going to get the update in the next two months.

On the other hand, Most of the Oppo smartphones have already received the ColorOS 7 beta and stable updates in China including OppoA5 2020 and A9 2020, Oppo K3, Oppo K5, and Find X SuperVooc, and others. The same update is also available on devices like Reno F, Reno 2Z, F11, F11 Pro, R17, R17 Pro, Reno, Reno2, A9, K3 and  Oppo Find X  in India.

Oppo F9 and F9 Pro will start receiving the update from June 10 and he A5 2020 and A9 2020 will start receiving it on June 15th. Meanwhile, the Oppo F7, Oppo F7 128GB will get the Firmware version F.10 from 25th June.

Install Color OS7 Update in two ways:

  1. You can head over to the Settings Software Update to get the stable update one released,
  2. Tap the icon in the upper right corner of your Settings > Software Update panel to get the trial version.

ColorOS 7 that is based on Android 10 has many improvements and new features. The ColorOS 7 is packed with Revamped UI, New icons pack allowing the custom shape, New wallpapers, Breeno smart voice assistant, Improved RAM management, New sound effects, Portrait Mode 2.0, Soloop video editor, Light visual design, Ultra Night Mode in-camera and more.

This means that we will continue to expand our localization efforts to ensure that ColorOS is highly adapted to local user needs. This update not only reimagines the system design but enhances the overall user experience, with a focus on audiovisual and gaming, with localized features unique to India.”

In India Oppo has added a local feature that includes the DocVault to bring the ease and convenience to carry documents in the paperless form to its more than 45 million Oppo users in India.

However, the Realme 1, 2, U1, and C1 will not receive the ColorOS 7.0 Update.
