[Update: February 2022 Security Patch with some fixes for Indian units] Poco X3 Pro Updates Tracker


At the near end of Q3 2021, the Xiaomi-owned brand— Poco launched the Poco X3 Pro smartphone. It flaunts a 6.67-inch display which is protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 6 shield. An Octa-core processor-based Snapdragon 860 powers the device paired with up to 256GB storage and 8GB RAM. Poco X3 Pro offers Android 11, MIUI 12.5 pre-installed. In terms of camera, there’s a 48MP quad rear camera and a 20MP single front-facing lens.

  • [June 1, 2022]: A few days back, Poco started rolling out a new update for the European units of Poco X3 Pro. The update is now live for the Indian units. It comes with the firmware version number V13.0.1.0.SJUINXM and is live via Over the Air (OTA). The changes are similar to that of European units. Even though, it has been June, Poco upgrades to February 2022 patch only. Other improvements include opening floating windows directly from the sidebar and enhanced support for Clock, Phone and other apps.   • [May 27, 2022]: Poco has started rolling out a new update for the Poco X3 Pro. The update is live in the European region and is rolling out via OTA. It gets the firmware version number V13.0.1.0.SJUEUXM. The update is a stable one and brings the February 2022 security patch. It increases the security and brings new features to the device.   • [February 28, 2022]: Poco X3 Pro is getting a new update via firmware version V12.5.9.0.RJUMIXM. It brings the January 2022 security patch which is currently rolling out globally.
  • [January 12, 2022]: The Poco X3 in India is upgrading with new software that arrives on the firmware version  V12.5.6.0.RJUINXM. The build polishes the user experience by optimizing the system performance and improving system security and stability. [Recovery ROM]

  • [December 1, 2021]: Poco X3 Pro is receiving a new update in India and globally. The bump can be identified by the firmware version V12.5.5.0.RJUINXM and  V12.5.7.0.RJUMIXM respectively.   • [October 25, 2021]: Xiaomi is releasing a new software update for the Poco X3 Pro units in Europe. The update arrives on the firmware version V12.5.3.0.RJUEUXM, adds the August 2021 security patch to the device. Besides, it does not carry any other changes.
  • [August 26, 2021]: The Poco X3 Pro is grabbing a stable software update globally. The build carries the August 2021 security patch on V12.5.4.0.RJUMIXM firmware version. The update enhances the system security but it does not carry any new additions.

  • [July 6, 2021]: Poco X3 Pro is the latest device to grab the MIUI 12.5 update. The latest stable update is unfurling in India on firmware version V12.5.3.0.RJUINXM. As far as features are concerned, MIUI 12.5 brings UI tweaks, new animations, privacy features, an updated Notes app, and a lot more. Visit our dedicated tracker for the official changelog.

Like all the other updates, this also is having an incremental rollout. That means a set of random users will start experiencing the update now. After the successful verification, everyone will be getting it within a week. You can also check the update status manually by navigating to Settings > Software updates > Check for updates.
