It looks like Poco is gearing up to announce two new smartphones, which have been approved at the TKDN certification. The smartphones are said to be the Poco X5 GT and Poco C55. The Poco X5 GT is said to be a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 12 Turbo. Whereas, the Poco C55 could be a rebranded version of the Redmi 12C. Certainly, the Poco X5 GT has a 23049PCD8G model number and the Poco C55 has a 22127PC95G model number for the global version respectively. Additionally, the Poco X5 GT with 23049PCD8I mode number has been spotted at the BIS certification. We would soon be able to see the Poco X5 GT official announcement in India, as it has been approved for the BIS certification too.

Poco X5 GT & Poco C55 specifications
Certainly, the Poco X5 GT is expected to feature a 6.67-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display. It will have a 120Hz screen refresh rate. The device will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 2 mobile platform. Subsequently, it would feature a 50-megapixel + 8-megapixel + 2-megapixel triple camera setup. On the front, it could offer a 16-megapixel snapper as a selfie camera. Additionally, it will have a 5500 mAh battery with 67-watt fast charging technology. In the UI section, the device could come with MIUI 14 based on Android 13 out of the box.
On the other hand, according to reports, the Poco C55 will feature the MediaTek Helio G85 mobile platform. However, the device comes with Android 12 out of the box, Additionally, it will have a 4 GB minimum RAM variant.
