Realme GT 2 Pro gets a new update with February 2022 Security Patch and more

The Realme GT 2 Pro is the first flagship by the company in the year 2022. The smartphone was initially available in China later followed by the global launch. In the latest news, the company is now releasing a new software update for the device in the home country.

As mentioned, the update is rolling out in China via firmware version A.18. The package brings multiple fixes across the system, including Games, internet, Camera, and more. Also, the build packs the February 2022 security Patch, enhancing the device’s security. Check out the official changelog below.

    • Added Car+Vehicle connection function
    • Optimize screen recording fluency
    • Optimize the startup speed and sliding smoothness of some third-party apps
    • Optimize the smoothness of video playback in albums
    • Fixed the problem of out-of-sync video sound and picture playing on Douyin
    • Fixed the issue that video apps such as Douyin could not play videos
    • Fix the problem that the eye protection mode will not be automatically turned off
    • Fixed the issue that the HD call icon could not be closed in the status bar
    • Fixed the abnormal restart of the phone in some scenarios to improve system stability

    • Optimize the temperature control of some games
    • Fix the problem that the game assistant does not close after exiting the game

    • Fixed the problem that the other party could not hear the sound during probabilistic calls
