Realme X7 5G and Narzo 20A receive February 2021 security patch update

Realme is seeding out Android 11 based Realme UI 2.0 skin to Realme Narzo 20A. The Chinese company announced that the early access beta program will release around the second quarter in India.

Apart from the customised skin, the device is receiving the Android February 2021 security patch with fixes and optimizations. It brings the build number RMX2050EX_11_A.25 for Realme Narzo 20A which drives in the following changes:

Realme X7 5G February 2021 Security Update

Along with Narzo 20A, Realme X7 5G users in India are also receiving the February 2021 security patch. However, this is still based on the brand’s previous skin Realme UI 1.0. The update comes in firmware number RMX2176PU_11.A.14 or RMX2176EX_11.A.14.

Realme X7 Pro 5G

This will be the first update for the smartphone after launch which add on features like; crop image while taking a screenshot, optimizes the screenshot fluency on Add Clock page and so on. Moreover, it fixes several bugs say, disconnecting issues of automobile Bluetooth, the extra noise of the Bluetooth earphones, issues that Wi-Fi is automatically turned of when connecting to a hotspot plus many more.

Realme Narzo 20A

The device was launched last year in September featuring an IPS LCD 6.5-inch display. It packs Android 10-based Realme UI powered by Qualcomm SDM665 Snapdragon 665 chipset out of the box. Regarding the camera, it features a triple-module at back consisting of 12 MP wide + 2 MP depth + 2 MP depth sensors and a single 8 MP wide lens at the front. Nazro 20A is available in 32 GB + 3 GB RAM and 64 GB + 4 GB RAM storage variants.

Realme X7 5G was also revealed in September 2020 with an AMOLED 6.4-inch screen. It is fueled by MediaTek MT6873 Dimensity 800U 5G coupled with Android 10, Realme UI. The device is accessible in 128 GB + 6 GB RAM and 128 GB + 8 GB RAM storage variants. It houses a quad-rear camera consisting of 64 MP wide + 8 MP ultrawide + 2 MP macro + 2 MP depth sensors and a single 32 MP wide lens at the front.
