The Redmi K50 Ultra has been launched by Xiaomi in China. After several rumours and leaks, the device finally went off at a launch event along with Xiaomi Mix Fold 2. Let’s have a look at the price, specs, features and other important aspects of the Redmi K50 Ultra.

The new Redmi K50 series smartphone has a design that looks similar to the Xiaomi12/12s series. It does come with some mind-blowing specifications as below:
Redmi K50 Ultra Specifications
Redmi K50 Ultra features a 6.7-inch punch hole 12-bit OLED display built by China’s TCL CSOT and Tianma. The display carries a resolution of 2712 x 1220 pixels, pixel density of 446 PPI, 120Hz refresh rate, and 1920Hz PWM dimming.
Dolby Vision, the DCI-P3 colour gamut, HDR10+, and adaptive HDR are all supported with the display. A reduced blue light option at the hardware level is also included in the display and is certified by SGS as a low fatigue display.
The Redmi K50 Ultra comes with the 108MP triple camera setup on the rear side with OIS(Optical Image Stabilization). It has a 108MP Samsung ISOCELL HM6 primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro lens. There’s a 20MP front/selfie camera for video calling and selfies.
Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC is present along with 8/12GB LPDDR5 RAM, 128/256/512GB UFS 3.1 storage, and VC liquid cooling system to dissipate the heat. The device rolls out with MIUI 13 based on the Android 12 operating system.
In connectivity, the device supports Dual SIM 5G, Wifi 6, dual-band GNSS, and NFC. It is IP53 certificated device and carries a Dual stereo speaker that supports Dolby Atmos, an x-axis linear vibration motor, and an in-screen fingerprint sensor are the other additional features.
And of course, the new Redmi K50 Ultra will have a massive battery of 5,000mAh and will support 120W fast wired charging. This smartphone will be available in either black, blue, or silver colour options.
There will be a Champion Edition of the phone priced at ¥4,199 ($623) for 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. The theme of this version smartphone is inspired by Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 Team.

- 8GB + 256GB – ¥3,299 ($490)
