Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 8 series a couple of years back which includes – Redmi Note 8, Redmi Note 8T, and Redmi Note 8 Pro. Reportedly, the company might be adding another variant to the Redmi Note 8 lineup. The upcoming Redmi Note 8 (2021) series with model number M1908C3JGG appeared on the FCC, and EEC certification websites.

A new Xiaomi smartphone has arrived in the FCC databse with model number M1908C3JGG. Xiaomi was engagged working to launch Redmi Note 10 series in China powered by Dimensity 900 processor. However, new reports states that the smartphone will be called Redmi Note 8 (2021) for some markets. Here’s is all we know about the leaked device.

The IMEI listing indocates that this new device could be a new Redmi Note 8 series smartphone. According to a tipster, Redmi Note 8 (2021) is codenamed as Biloba. As mentioned, the smartphone will debut in limited markets like global, EU, and Russia. Adding on to this, one more device is spotted at FCC with model number M1908C3J1. Maybe this will also be a part of Redmi Note 8 (2021) series.

The Redmi Note 8 (2021) has an IPS LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate as per Xiaomi. Talking about the design, the panel size remains unknown, but the phone will feature a waterdrop notch display. Futhermore, accoding to the FCC lisiting, the Note 8 (2021) will equip a 4,000mAh battery with 22.5W of fast charging support.

Under the hood, a Helio G85 processor is likely to power the device couplted with up to 4GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. As the device will release this year, it may fuel the latets stable channel, Android 11 tossed with MIUI 12.5 on top.

Moving to the shooting department, the rear side will supposibly hold a quad-camera module with 48MP primary sensor, an ultrawide lens, a depth sensor, and a tele-macro camera. However, the other side remains unspecified.
