Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 gets purple color variant in China

Xiaomi is improving the color combination for Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 in China. The smartphone which was initially launched with Black, White and Blue color variants is set to get a new purple color variant in China. The ‘Star Cloud Purple’ color will start retailing from November 18.

After launching the Cosmic Purple color edition along with other variants in India, Xiaomi is finally welcoming the new color in China. It will be available with Redmi Note 8 4GB RAM + 64 GB storage and 6 GB RAM + 64 GB storage variants.  Both the storage variants will retail at INR 10,230 (999 Yuan, $142) and INR 11,280 (~1099 Yuan, $156).

The sale for Redmi Note 8 purple edition will start on November  18 at 10 AM (Beijing Time).

However, the Redmi Note 8 is powered by Snapdragon 665 chipset coupled with 6GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage. The smartphone features a 6.3-inch display with a waterdrop notch having a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. The smartphone houses a 4000 mAh battery with the ability of 18W fast charging through USB-C.

In optics, the Redmi Note 8 hosts a quad-camera setup with a 48-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel superwide lens, and a 2-megapixel super macro lens, and another 2-megapixel depth sensor. It runs on Android 9 Pie-based MIUI 10.
