Samsung Galaxy M31s starts receiving One UI 3.1 update in India


Samsung Galaxy M31s was launched last year with Android 10 and One UI 2.5 skin. Currently, Samsung started rolling out the Android 11 update for a new smartphone each day. The latest smartphone to receive the update is Samsung Galaxy M31s.

The update bears firmware version M317FXXU2CUB1 and weighs 1932.15 MB alongside it packs February 2021 Security patch. Galaxy M31s update is currently rolling out in countries namely Russia, Ukraine, Morrocco and Poland.

The users in India have now started to receive the Android 11 update on their Galaxy M31 devices. However, the update carries One UI 3.1 skin instead of One UI 3.0.

The update adds some new features like a Single take, Eyeshield comfort, Private Share, Touch autofocus and autoexposure controller. As the device is a low-range series it does not have features like Multi Mic Recorder and Object Eraser tool.

Currently, the One UI 3.1 update is rolling out to Samsung Galaxy M31 users in India. It is expected to launch in other countries very soon. The software update is rolling out in batches.

The update is available to users of mentioned countries and you will receive a pop-up notification. If not, head to Settings >> About >> Check for updates>> Download and install.
