The latest security level carries the firmware version G950NKSU5DUD1 to Galaxy S8 while the number varies to G955NKSU5DUD1 for Galaxy S8+. The new software update protects the duo from 21 exposures and vulnerabilities from various potential attack vectors. Also, it includes fixes for 30 vulnerabilities that Google term as severe or critical.

Recently, the Samsung maintenance release hit the Galaxy S8 duo in the home country. The build is further rolling out for the carrier versions of the Galaxy S8 and the Galaxy S8+. It is expected to extend for unlocked and international variants of the Galaxy S8 series in a couple of weeks.

As regular updates take place, this too is having a phase-wise rollout. If you are a Galaxy S8 or S8+ user in South Korea, you will receive the latest security level soon. Alternatively, you can also track it manually via phone Settings -> Software update and then tapping on Download and install.
