Samsung Smart Monitor will get Google Assistant support in June; Alexa support in July

The Samsung Smart Monitor series was launched in November 2020. It is the world’s first do-it-all screen designed for today’s business, work, and entertainment. The Monitors are known to offer productivity apps with versatile connectivity. The series includes the Samsung Smart Monitor M5 and Smart Monitor M7, available in different display sizes and color variants.

Presently, these devices powers the Linux-based Tizen operating system supported by Samsung’s Bixby assistant. Though these smartdevices can support more virtual assistants available throughout.

But now, apart from the traditional Samsung assistant, the Smart Monitor series will soon support a more couple of virtual assistants. Reportedly, the Korean giant is soon going to bring the Amazon’s Alexa and Google Assistant for the devices.

It looks like Amazon’s Alexa may take a month to arrive. However, the Google Assistant support is underway to accompany Bixby this month. That means with the next Over The Network update, the Samsung’s smart screens will enable Google Now.

Now the users of these Smart Moniters will be able to use the prominent virtual assistants via cell-powered remote control. However, Samsung has not yet disclosed the exact date, but we will make sure to keep you posted with any further update.
