Stable Samsung Internet 11.0 comes with Video Assistant, new add-ons and much more

The good-old Video Assistant feature is officially back on Samsung Internet. After testing the feature on Samsung Internet beta 10.2 and later, Samsung is finally taking it to the stable Samsung Internet with the release of the latest Samsung Internet 11.0.

Samsung Internet 11 is a major upgrade from the previous stable Samsung Internet 10 version. The update brings handful of new features, UI improvements and customizability. Some of the changes seen on the Samsung Internet 11.0 is listed below.

  • Video Assistant
    : (Limitation) Popup play can be restricted by Content Providers.

  • New Add-Ons

In case if you’re unaware, the Video Assistant feature offers advanced controls for videos on websites. The controls or features which we get while streaming videos include improved UI just like stock Samsung Video Player, Smart View, PiP support, Download option for supported contents and some other minor but useful controls.

Apart from the Video Assistant, the Samsung Internet 11.0 marks the introduction of new useful Add-Ons. As of now, three new extensions/add-ons are available apart from the already existing such as Ad-blocker, Amazon Assistant and so on.

The new stable update also gets the Toolbar customization feature of the Samsung Internet beta 10.2. As you’d know, with that you can customize the toolbar according to your likings. You can drag and drop the shortcuts, re-arrange and so on.
