Vivo S7 goes official in China at starting price of CNY 2,798

The BBK owned Vivo has officially launched the new Vivo S7 smartphone in China. It comes at an affordable price tag of CNY 2,798 for the starting model. The sale of the phone starts from August 8 in China and the company will also start taking pre-orders from today’s midnight.

With a 6.44-inch AMOLED display (1080×2400 pixels), the smartphone measures 158.8 x 74.2 x 7.4 mm and weighs around 170 grams. The phone powers an Octa-core processor-based Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G Chipset coupled with Adreno 620 GPU. The device is available in two variants – 8GB RAM with 128GB storage capacity and 8GB RAM with 256GB storage.

Moving to the camera department, the smartphone sports a triple camera on the rear side that compromises 64MP primary with f/1.9 aperture, 8MP ultra-wide with f/2.2 aperture, and 2MP with f/2.4 aperture. On the front part, it hosts a 44MP + 8MP dual camera’s for selfies and video calls. Some of the features of the cameras include HDR, panorama, Dual-LED, etc.

Vivo S7 runs Android 10 based Funtouch 10.5 skin out of the box and packs a 4,000 mAh battery with the fast charging support up to 33W. The general connectivity options of the smartphone include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v5.1, NFC, USB Type-C etc.

Price and Availability

Vivo S7 carries a price tag of CNY 2,798 (Approx. $400) for 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. Whereas, the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant costs around CNY 3,098 (Approx. $ 443). The smartphone will be available in Moonlight White, Monet color, and Jazz Black colors. Interested users can also pre-order the mobile from today’s night via Vivo site. Otherwise, wait for the sale that starts from August 8.
