WhatsApp has recently introduces the new Snapchat stories like feature. The feature is named as Status,with this new feature text statuses has disappeared. But now in the latest WhatsApp Beta v2.17.93 Text Statuses are back.

Just like before, you can find your own status and edit it under your profile settings at the bottom in the About and phone number section. And you can see the statuses of other users in their profile page in the same place.
If you want to use Text Statuses and can’t wait untill it gets roll out on the stable version of the App. Then you just have to enroll in the Whatsapp beta program. Although, we think it will soon be rolled out on the stable version of the App.
