Vivo is sending Android 11 based Funtouch OS to its eligible smartphones since December last year. So far, the Chinese giant has sent the new version to numerous devices like VivoY19, Vivo Y11, and Vivo V20 SE. Now, the 2019-launched Vivo S1 Pro is going to join the long list.
According to the rollout plan, the smartphone was set to receive the build by the end of this month, but the company seems to work fast. The fresh software arrives on version number Vivo rev 8.12.6 which weighs 3.79GB in size. The update tends to enhance system stability and optimize system performance.
The official changelog is yet to be disclosed by the brand. However, needless to say that the latest build will bring all the Android 11 goodies like chat bubbles, native screen recorder, smart media control, smart conversations, one-time permissions, and more. This further is tossed with FuntouchOS 11 which brings:
- Always on Display
ο Vivo has added more to the AOD feature, Users will be able to choose from different customization options that offer lots of colors and dynamic light effects.

Since the device was launched in 2019 with Android 9 (Pie) Funtouch 9.2, this Android 11 build might be the last major OS update for the smartphone.
As Beta updates take place, this as well will roll out to a limited number of users at first before having a border rollout. Vivo S1 Pro users may have to wait a long to receive the stable build of the package.
