Samsung Galaxy S20 FE Exynos receives Android 12 update

Launched in September 2020, the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE Exynos version easily became one of the best smartphones that year. Samsung promised three years of system update for the device, which made it a much better choice from the competition. Earlier, the device was running Android 11 based One UI 3.0. Now, Samsung has started pushing Android 12.0 based One UI 4.0 for the device.

Samsung also launched the 5G version of the device which was powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 865 chipset. The 5G version of the device already started receiving the update earlier and now, it is time for the 4G variant. The 4G variant comes with Exynos 990 SoC and model number SM-G780F.

Samsung pushed the update with the latest December security patch. It is currently live in Russia, but other regions will receive it soon. The new update comes with firmware version G780FXXS8DUL6. It brings all the latest Android 12 features like Material You, Privacy and security enhancement, new material widgets, and many more.

Other than the Android 12 features, the update also brings One UI 4.0 goodness. The latest One UI 4.0 brings its own version of Material You and other features. Samsung has become the leader in the industry when it comes to system updates. last year they updated their devices to One UI 3.0 and now they have started pushing One UI 4.0.
