Google’s first in-house Android Phones Pixel and Pixel XL sales reaches 1 Million Mark. The estimate has been made on the basis of Google Pixel Launcher app install data updated in Play Store.
Google Play store has just passed the threshold from the 500,000 – 1,000,000 to 1,000,000-5,000,000 installs. It means Google Pixel and Pixel XL combined sale figure reaches 1 Million mark. As Google Pixel launcher is exclusive to Google Pixel and Pixel XL. However, Pixel C tablet is also excluded from this launcher so the figure is quite accurate.
For a Reminder, Google Pixel and Pixel XL packs with Qualcomm MSM8996 Snapdragon 821 chipset with Adreno 530 GPU. It comes with 4 GB of RAM. The device packs 32/128 GB of internal storage. It packs with 12 MP of primary camera on the rear and 8 MP secondary camera at the front for selfies. The Google Pixel consists of Li-Ion 3450 mAh battery capacity. It runs on the Android 7.1 Nougat out of the box.
The only difference between Pixel and Pixel XL is the display size of both the phones i.e. Pixel features a 5 inch display where as Pixel features a 5.5 inch display.
