The South Korean Electronics Giant – LG has started cultivating the Android 11 stable update for the LG Velvet 5G (LM-G900N) smartphones. The update bears the G900N2C Firmware version, weighs nearly 2.2GB in size, and as of now, it is limited to South Korean users.

What’s new?
The company has not mentioned the detailed changelog of this update in the release note. But as it is an Android 11 update, it might include redesigned UI, Conversation notifications, Notification history, screen recorder, Media controls, Chat bubbles in Android 11, and much more. However, you will be experiencing all the new features and changes while using your smartphone.
The LG Velvet 5G South Korean users will be receiving the update in a phased manner. So, it usually takes a couple of days to hit each and every unit. Meanwhile, you can also check the update status manually by navigating to Settings>Sofware updates and check for updates. We also suggest you to maintain at least 60% and switch over to a WiFi network to avoid unnecessary causes.
LG Velvet 5G Specifications
In the Q2 of 2020, LG has officially unveiled the LG Velvet 5G smartphone with a 6.8-inch display and 395 PPI density. The device is powered by an Octa-core processor based Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G (7 nm) Chipset coupled with Adreno 620 GPU. It is available in two variants – 6GB RAM with 128GB internal storage and 8GB RAM with 128GB internal storage.
In terms of camera, there’s a 48-MP + 8-MP + 5-MP triple rear camera and a 16-MP single front-facing camera. LG Velvet 5G runs Android 10 based LG UX 9 (Skin) out of the box and packs a 4300 mAh battery with 25W fast charging support.
