Xiaomi recently launched the Redmi Note 10 series globally and in India. Even though the lineup comes pre-installed with Android 11, but it surfaces MIUI 12 out of the box. Following the Redmi Note 10S units in India, the Redmi Note 10 Pro & Note 10 Pro Max are receiving a stable update with the latest skin, MIUI 12.5.

The smartphone was not listed in the MIUI 12.5 beta program schedule, but still, it managed to grab the update a month after launch. However, as of now, the fresh skin is available in a stable form only for the Mi Pilot Testers. A border rollout is expected to follow soon by the next couple of weeks.
The MIUI 12.5 Android skin is a bridge between the MIUI 12 and MIUI 13. It brings improved performance, tweaks in system apps like camera and notes, and a lot more. Here’s the MIUI 12.5 changelog for the Redmi Note 10 Pro & Note 10 Pro Max.
