Moto Edge 30 goes official with Snapdragon 778G+ SoC for €450

The Lenovo-owned company introduced the Moto Edge 30 Pro a couple of months ago. Now, the wraps have been taken off from the Moto Edge 30 as well. The vanilla model is the new mid-range smartphone that is currently official in Europe. The device is expected to launch soon in India. However, the launch date is still a secret.

At the front, the Moto Edge 30 features a centrally aligned punch-hole cutout at the top of a 6.5-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display. The panel offers a 144Hz refresh rate and an HDR10+ resolution. Also, it is IP52 rated for splash resistance. A 4,020 mAh battery keeps the system working with 33W TurboPower fast charging support.

Under the hood, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G+ chipset fuels the Moto Edge 30 paired with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. On the software front, it comes pre-installed with Android 12 along with a layer of MyUX on top.

On the rear side, Moto Edge 30 holds a triple camera setup. The module includes a 50MP primary lens, a 50MP ultrawide unit, and a 2MP sensor to measure depth. The camera has support for All-Pixel Autofocus, OIS, and a 118-degree field of view. For selfies and video chats, there’s a 32MP unit placed inside the cutout.

Price and Availability

The base 8GB + 128GB model of Moto Edge 30 costs €450. While the price detail for the upper 8GB + 256GB variant is still unknown. You can purchase the device in Aurora Green, Meteor Grey, and Supermoon Silver color options.
