Moto G52 goes official with Snapdragon 680 SoC in Europe for €249

Motorola has provided one more budget offering smartphone— Moto G52. The device is a successor of the Moto G51 launched last year. For now, the device went official in Europe, while it will soon launch in India as well. However, the precise date is not yet revealed. Anyway, here is a closer look at Moto G52.

The new Moto G52 is built around a 6.6-inch OLED display featuring a hole-punch cutout at the top center. The panel offers a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, a 90Hz refresh rate, and a 20:9 aspect ratio.

Under the helm, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC powers the Moto G52. The phone arrives in two configurations with up to 6GB RAM and 256GB of storage which is expandable via a microSD card. For software, it boots Android 12 out of the box along with a layer of MyUX on top.

In the optics department, the Moto G52 carries an 8MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP depth sensor alongside a 50MP primary lens. Whereas, the selfies and video calls are all on a 16MP front-facing snapper.

In addition, the Moto G52 ships with a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 30W fast charging. Also, the phone is IP52-rated for splash resistance and comes with dual speakers and support for Dolby Atmos.

Price and Availability

The Moto G52 cost €249 (~₹20,600) for its 128GB/ 4GB RAM storage variant. However, the price for the higher 256GB/ 6GB RAM model is still undercover. The phone will soon go on sale in Europe and is expected to debut in other regions in the coming weeks.
