Huawei launched its new Harmony OS yesterday along with some new gadgets. Huawei unveiled two new tablets and also their new smartwatch lineup. All of these gadgets will come with their new skin called Harmony OS. Huawei has launched smartwatches in the past also but it was a long time ago, precisely, about three years. There are two new smartwatches in the lineup named Huawei Watch 3 and Huawei Watch 3 Pro.
Both the smartwatches rock a 1.43-inch AMOLED color display with a 466 x 466 pixels resolution and a pixel density of 326PPI. Not only the display, but both the watches are also available in the same 2GB RAM and 16GB storage variant. Both the watches come with all the necessary sensors like accelerometer, gyro sensor, geomagnetic sensor, optical heart rate sensor, ambient light sensor, barometric pressure sensor, and body temperature sensor. These Watches also has a new 3D rotating crown that senses different levels of pressure and provides haptic feedback in response to user input.
The only department these watches differ is the battery department. The Huawei Watch 3 provides up to 3 days of battery in Smart mode and up to 14 days of battery in Ultra-long battery life mode. Meanwhile, the Huawei Watch 3 Pro provides up to 5 days of battery in Smart mode and up to 21 days of battery in Ultra-long battery life mode. Both of the watches support eSim with 4G and voice calling.
Huawei Watch 3 features a circular dial with a curved glass screen and 316L stainless steel casing. It comes in four different designs, Active (rubber strap), Classic (leather strap), Elite (Metal strap), and Classic (Milanese band). Huawei Watch 3 Pro has a more premium design, it’s made out of titanium and has sapphire glass protecting the display.
Pricing and availability
The Huawei Watch 3 comes at a starting price of CNY 2,600(~₹29,700) and the Huawei Watch 3 Pro at CNY 3,300(~₹37,700). Both the watches will be available in China from June 11.
