The update includes Always on Display and a remote shutter key for the smartphone’s camera. It also optimizes the system UI details, fixes bugs, and improves system stability. OnePlus is rolling the update via an OTA update through the OnePlus Health app and adds a marathon workout in the health section.

The company received criticism for not including the AOD (Always on Display) function in its Watch. OnePlus included the feature but at the expense of its battery life. Although, the company mentioned that enabling the feature will impact the battery life.

OnePlus promised a span of 14 days for its watch, but after testing, the watch could only last for a week at the max. With AOD enabled, it lasted for only four days. The decision to choose an RTOS-based operating System could be the reason for this.

The Watch includes a 1.39-inch circular AMOLED display, GPS health tracking, and 5 ATM water resistance. Warp Charging feature in the watch offers a span of a week after 20-minutes of charging, as it claims. Users can make calls and take calls via their smartphone’s Bluetooth connection.
