[Update: August 2023 Security Patch] Realme GT 2 Updates Tracker

Realme GT 2 was announced in Jan 2022 featuring a 6.62-inch AMOLED display. Under the hood, it is powered by an Octa-core processor-based Snapdragon 888 5G SoC. The smartphone comes pre-installed with Android 12, Realme UI 3.0 out of the box paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. Realme GT 2 equips a 50MP triple rear camera and a 16MP snapper for selfies.

• [August 29, 2023]: Realme recently rolled out its August 2023 security patch for Realme GT 2 smartphone. The software firmware to Realme GT 2 devices as RMX3312_13.1.0.1410 version.
• [March 23, 2023]: Realme is rolling out OTA update for realme GT 2 has begun for the month of March. The latest UI Version is RMX3312_11.C.10 with the March 2023 security update.

• [January 20, 2023]: Realme is rolling out a new update for the Realme GT 2 smartphone. The update is rolling for the Indian & Chinese units with the firmware version RMX3312_11_C.08 and RMX3310_11_C.08. The January 2023 update brings better system security and stability. The update also brings optimizations for WiFi and cameras. It weighs around 950MB and may take some time to reach all units of the device.
• [October 02, 2022]: Realme GT 2 is finally receiving the October 2022 Security Patch via the firmware RMX3312_11.A.22. There are several other changes and fixes that are part of the latest update. You can check the official changelog below:

• [August 1, 2022]: The Realme GT 2 5G is picking up a new update in China with the firmware version A.19. The package integrates the July 2022 security patch and optimizes the camera effect. Moreover, it resolves a few issues, including crashes and restarting problems, heart rate detection failure, network problems, and more.

• [July 4, 2022]: Realme GT 2 is now picking up the May 2022 security patch through the firmware version RMX3312_11_A.18. In addition, the build resolves some known issues to improve system stability. Also, it will polish the system’s smoothness by fixing some lags.

• [June 2, 2022]: The Realme GT 2 5G is getting a new update on firmware version RMX3312_11_A.17 which is rolling out in some Asian countries. The build packs the April 2022 security patch along with some bug fixes in the system.

The OTA update is rolling out in a phase-wise manner. Accordingly, the users may have to wait a while to get the build. You can also check the update status manually by heading over to Settings > Software updates > Check for the updates. Also, we suggest you switch over to a WiFi network to avoid carrier data charges.
