Realme has launched its Q3 5G series namely, Realme Q3 5G, Realme Q3 Pro 5G, and the Realme Q3i 5G in China. These new affordable 5G connectivity smartphones are successors of the Realme Q2 series debuted in 2020. The Chinese giant did not yet reveal anything about the Q3 lineup launch in India as the predecessor hasn’t even made it to the country yet.
Realme Q3 Pro
Display: The top-end smartphone of the Q3 lineup features a 6.43-inch AMOLED full HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 360Hz touch sampling rate. The panel sports a 1080p+ pixel resolution and a punch-hole on the top-left corner. The dimensions of the Realme Q3 Pro are 158.5 x 73.3 x 8.4mm and weighs 179 grams.
Processor and configuration: The Realme Q3 Pro employs the MediaTek Dimensity 1100 chipset paired and Android 11 OS with Realme UI 2.0 skin on top. The device is available on three memory configurations: 128GB/6GB RAM, 128GB/8GB RAM, and 256GB/8GB RAM that uses UFS 3.1 storage.
Camera: Coming to the camera, the Realme Q3 Pro carries a triple camera module consisting of a 64MP primary camera, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP macro sensor. The primary snapper can also record 4K videos at 60 frames per second. On the other side, the punch-hole houses a 16MP shooter for selfies.
Battery and Connectivity: The phone packs a 4,500mAh battery with 30W of charging support over a USB Type-C port. It comes with dual-SIM dual-5G, dual-band Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth v5.1, and a 3.5mm audio jack to support connectivity. The device has an in-display fingerprint reader and it also comprises stereo speakers.
Realme Q3 5G
Display: The standard variant flaunts a 6.5-inch IPS LCD display with Full HD+ 2,400 x 1080 pixels resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, a 180Hz touch sampling rate, and 600 nits brightness. The phone measures 162.5 x 74.8 x 8.8mm and weighs 189 grams and it carries a punch-hole at the top-left corner of the screen.
Processor and configuration: Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G chipset powers the Realme Q3 5G based on an octa-core processor. The smartphone also runs Android 11 OS tossed with Realme UI 2.0 custom theme. It is available in 128GB of internal storage coupled with up to 8GB RAM.
Camera: Realme Q3 5G offers similar camera quality as the Pro variant. However, the rear primary lens stands at 48MP.
Battery and Connectivity: The smartphone ships with a 5,000mAh battery with 30W of fast charging capacity. Connectivity options include dual sim with 5G support, dual-band Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth v5.1, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a USB Type-C port. It has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
Realme Q3i 5G
Display: The cheapest phone of the series has an identical display panel to the standard variant but with a 90Hz refresh rate.
Processor and configuration: The Realme Q3i 5G powers an octa-core processor-based MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset. Android 11 operating system fuels the device along with Realme UI 2.0 skin. As the lower variant, it has a storage configuration of 128GB coupled with up to 6GB of RAM.
Camera: There’s a triple rear camera setup with a 48MP primary sensor, a 2MP monochrome camera, and a 2MP macro camera. The front shooter remains to be the same as previous devices.
Battery and Connectivity: Realme Q3i 5G indulges a 5,000mAh battery along with 18W fast charging. Regarding connectivity, the phone has support for dual 5G connectivity SIM, dual-band Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth v5.0, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a USB Type-C port. As with the other variants, this as well has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
Availability and Price
The pre-orders for Realme Q3 5G family starts from April 29 on Realme’s official online store.
The lineup starts from Realme Q3i 5G with a price tag of CNY 1,000 ($155) whereas the mid variant is tagged with CNY 1,300 ($200). Talking about the top-end smartphone of the flagship, it’s worth CNY 1,600 ($245).
