Reliance Jio New Tariff Plans Revealed

Reliance Jio stirred up the Indian telecommunication market since it became public in 2016. They became popular overnight among Indians due to the services they provide at lower costs than any other operator. It is been only a year since Jio was made public and they now have more than 138.60 million subscribers with market share of 10.83% .

Recently, the most subscribed Jio Plan is the Dhan Dhana Dhan Plan which costs Rs. 399 . A few days back, Jio announced Diwali Cashback Offer to those who recharged Rs. 399 plan by 18th October. The cashback included eight Rs. 50 Jio vouchers which can be used by the customer after November 15. There were speculations that Jio might hike price after that and so did they.

The Jio Rs. 399 pack now costs Rs. 459 which includes the same daily 1GB 4G unlimited data(throttled speed after usage of 1GB), free voice calls and SMS for 84 days. Also, the subscribers can enjoy the benefits of Jio Apps. And the odd thing is that the Rs. 399 plan still exists but with validity reduced to 70 days. Further, the validity of Rs. 509 plan is now reduced to 49 days from 56 days which offers 2GB unlimited data per day, free voice calls, SMS and Jio Apps subscription.

In addition to this, the Rs. 999, Rs. 1,999 and Rs. 4,999 plans will now offer 60GB, 125GB and 350GB 4G data respectively instead of 90GB, 155GB and 380GB as it used to do. The Rs. 19 pack will now offer 150MB data down from 200MB . And there is a new Rs. 52 and Rs. 98 packs which offer 150MB 4G data daily for one week and two weeks respectively.
