Samsung Galaxy M30 clears FCC, expect soon

We’ve already seen how Samsung is back in the budget smartphone business with its new Galaxy M Series. The recently launched Galaxy M10 and Galaxy M20 are doing pretty well in the market with their value for money offerings. It’s not a secret that Samsung has one more Galaxy M device up its sleeve, and it’s nothing but the Galaxy M30. For those who are waiting for the device, it’d be glad to know that the device has just cleared the FCC. Implies, expect the device to be here soon in the coming few days.

The Galaxy M30 ought to be superior among the Galaxy M devices launched so far. Most notably, the device will come with the Samsung’s Super AMOLED FHD+ display which the current Galaxy M devices are devoid of. The sAMOLED indeed will be the USP if Samsung goes for aggressive pricing just like how the Galaxy M10/M20 have retailed in India.

We can expect the global launch of Galaxy M30 in India soon rather than later. The device is expected to be similar to the Galaxy M20 in terms of design and certain internals. However, inclusion of triple camera, sAMOLED and slightly powerful chipset will differentiate the M30 from the M20.

Based on a recent Geekbench listing, the Galaxy M30 will come with 4GB RAM powered by Exynos 7885 chipset. As a bummer for some, the device boots Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box but might get Android Pie update within few months after it is launched. All in all, it’s to be seen what price tag Samsung is going to attach on this promising device.
