In April 2022, Samsung officially launched the Galaxy M53 smartphone with Android 12 OS pre-installed. The phone features a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED FHD Plus Infinity-O display. Under the hood, it powers Dimensity 900 SoC paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. In the shooting department, the phone houses a 108MP + 8MP + 2MP + 2MP quad rear camera and a 32MP front snapper on the front.

- [July 29, 2022]: Samsung is extending the availability of the July 2022 security patch for the Galaxy A53. This time, the update is rolling out in Europe, India, Malaysia, Russia, Taiwan, Thailand, the Philippines, and Vietnam. The build M536BXXU1AVG1 can also bring some general bug fixes and device stability improvements.
- [July 20, 2022]: Samsung is releasing a new software update for the Galaxy M53 in Brazil and Russia. The build arrives on firmware version M536BXXU1AVG1, which bumps the security patch to July 2022. The patch resolves over 50 privacy and security-related vulnerabilities. Also, it might bring some general bug fixes and device stability improvements.

As the update is having a phase-wise rollout, it may take some time to reach all the units. Meanwhile, you can head to Settings > Software updates to check the update manually. Also, we suggest you switch over to a WiFi network while flashing the update to avoid carrier data charges.
