Titanium M6 5G is the world’s first Snapdragon 865 phone

Qualcomm is yet to unveil the next-generation Snapdragon 865 SoC but a Chinese company called 8848 has already announced a phone which will be powered by the said chip. The phone will go by the name of Titanium M6 5G and as the name suggests, it will come with 5G connectivity. 8848 is well-known for luxury watches and phones.

The company disclosed some of the specifications of the phone at their press event in China. This upcoming luxury phone will sport a 6.01-inch AMOLED display on the front. Apart from the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC running the show, the phone will feature a whopping 1TB storage and 12GB RAM. It will also feature a 64MP camera which will be able to capture 100MP resolution pictures by interpolation. Also, it will come with a personal assistance service incorporating real people to help the user accomplish their day to day tasks. Last but not least, it will have support for 5G networks which will become the norm in a few years.

The price and availability of Titanium M6 5G are not known yet but expect it to be at the higher end of the spectrum. Also, it is not known whether it will be the first phone to ship with Snapdragon 865 since Samsung has always had the first dibs on flagship Snapdragon chips for a very long time.
