Vivo Y35 with Snapdragon 680 SoC launched in India for ₹18,499

The Indian market has witnessed the launch of another Vivo smartphone today. The latest Vivo Y35 is a budget offering by the company. To recall, the same phone went official in Indonesia a couple of weeks back. Here’s a detailed look at the specifications, features, and pricing details of the latest Vivo handset.

The Vivo Y35 features a 6.58-inch IPS LCD screen with a water drop notch cutout. The panel offers a Full HD+ resolution and a standard 90Hz refresh rate. Also, the frame is flat with a 2.5D curve curvature with rounded corners. In addition, it features a side Fingerprint scanner and a face Wake feature for security.

Under the helm, an octa-core processor based on Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC powers the device. The chipset is paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Further, it supports Extended RAM 3.0 feature and a microSD card slot that can expand storage up to 1TB.

In the shooting department, the Vivo Y35 carries a triple-camera setup on the back led by a 50MP primary sensor. Accompanying this is another 2MP macro snapper and a 2MP bokeh lens. The module supports Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS) and stabilization algorithms as well. To serve selfies and video cals, there’s a 16MP front-facing shooter.

Moreover, the phone packs a 5,000mAh battery, making it weigh around 188 grams and 8.28mm thick. The power cell supports 44W fast charging out of the box. The other features include Android 12-based Funtouch OS 12, dual-band Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 5.0.

The Vivo Y35 will go on sale via the Vivo India e-store and all offline stores across the country. The device costs ₹18,499 for its sole 8GB/ 128GB variant. It is available in Agate Black and Dawn Gold color options. As for launch offers, the buyers can get an instant discount of ₹1000 with ICICI, SBI, Kotak, and OneCard till September 30th.
