How to fix Samsung Galaxy S10 won’t connect to Wifi issue

But no tech is 100% perfect, and you can always encounter various issues even with these flagship devices. Some Galaxy S10 users have been having a weird problem where the device won’t connect to Wifi. Now, this issue can be a temporary one and resolve it on its own but in many cases, it just won’t. In this post, we’ll be helping you out with various methods to fix Galaxy S10 not connecting to Wifi issue.

Galaxy S10 won’t connect to WiFi issue

Force reboot your Galaxy S10

There’s nothing simpler than a simple restart of your device that can fix this issue. But we won’t be doing a simple reboot but rather a force reboot to fix this problem.

  1. To force reboot your Galaxy S10, press and hold the volume down button and power button together for 10 seconds or more.

If the phone still doesn’t connect to the WiFi, then move on to the next method.

Restart your Router

Now if a force restart of you Galaxy S10 didn’t work, a simple restart of your Wifi Router might get the job done.

  1. Unplug your Wifi router and wait or a like for minute or two before plugging it again.
  2. Now Plug it back and wait until it becomes active again and try to reconnect.
  3. Also, try to connect some other device to the same router to be sure.

If the problem persists, move to the next troubleshooting process.

Reset network settings and Forget Network

If a restart of your Galaxy S10 and your Wifi Router did not work, you need to Forget the saved Wifi network to delete the saved profile.

  1. You’ll need to select the Wifi network and click on forget to delete the current profile.
  2. The turn off your wifi and after a minute or so, turn it back up.
  3. Try to connect again with the same network and see if it works. Make sure you are entering the correct password.

If it still doesn’t work, You’ll have to reset the network settings of your Galaxy S10.

  1. Go to Settings > General Management > Reset > Reset network settings and Tap on RESET SETTINGS. Once it is done, a confirmation window will appear.

NoteResting the Network settings deletes all your saved Wifi networks, Paired Bluetooth devices, etc.

If a reset of the Network settings didn’t work, the only option left is to do a complete reset of the device.

Imp – Take a backup of all your important data before Resetting your phone.

Step 1 Turn off your device and wait for a minute. Now turn it on by pressing and the Volume Up button and the Bixby button together, and then pressing and holding the Power key.

Step 2 When you see the Green Android Logo appear, release all the buttons. ( If done correctly you’ll see the ‘Installing system update’ for like a minute, and you’ll get the Android recovery menu settings.

Step 3 Using the Volume down key, highlight the ‘wipe data/factory reset’ and press button to select it.

Step 4 Using the Volume Down key again, highlight the ‘Yes — delete all user data’ and press the power button to start the Master Reset process.

Step 5 When the master reset is done, you’ll get a ‘Reboot system now,’ Press the power button to reboot your Galaxy S10.
