Google Maps has got new feature in an update which is currently on its way to take a jab on Foursquare. Google has added Explore Button in bottom right side of the app.
Explore button is designed to operate if and when you are in a location that has points of interest in the area. It’s not only location-sensitive — the feature also pays attention to the context, meaning you’ll get different results depending on the time of day and the weather. Also, Google has pointed to turn on your location history for better results. After using this feature it will get more accurate in coming time.
If it will work than it can cause tough competition to Foursquare as an advantage Google Maps also provides Location, direction and routes features.
