The company is now bringing the OxygenOS 11 Open Beta 4 update for OnePlus 7 and 7T flagship series. OnePlus is testing the new OS since last year and many of its smartphones have received different builds of beta.

The thing to remember here is that the OnePlus 7 series skipped the Open Beta 3 update as OnePlus did not find it eligible for the update. There were a lot of complaints from the users regarding the performance issues on the device. And so, the company added OnePlus 7 to the list of eligible devices for Open Beta 4.

The new update brings stability and performance improvements for both OnePlus 7 and 7T series. It fixes many issues that obstruct the smooth functioning of the devices. Both the series, however, have different changelogs in terms of the update.

The update size for OnePlus 7T and 7T Pro is 112 MB which is not much as it mostly includes minor improvements. However, the update size of the OnePlus 7 series could be large. The company suggests its users create a back-up of their data before installing the update.

When updating the devices to Open Beta 4, the users should know that this is not a stable version and comes with potential risks. Both the series are receiving updates via server-side testing and update will occur automatically. Or the users can go to Settings > Software updates > Download and install to experience the latest beta version.

The latest update is now rolling out to the users and will soon reach users across the globe.
