[Update: July 2022 Security Patch] Realme C12 Updates Tracker

Realme debuted the Reale C12 smartphone in August 2020 featuring a 6.5-inch display. It is powered by an Octa-core processor based MediaTek Helio G35 Chipset coupled with PowerVR GE8320 GPU. In terms of camera, there’s a triple camera module led by a 13 MP primary sensor and a 5 MP single front-facing camera.

Realme C12 Updates Tracker

• [July 18, 2022]: The Indian variants of Realme C12 are getting a new update on firmware version RMX2189_11_C.13. The build integrates the June and July 2022 security patches. Besides, it improves the system performance as well.

• [March 22, 2022]: The Realme C12 is upgrading with firmware version RMX2189_11_C.11 in India. The build adds the March 2022 security patch and improves system performance and stability. In addition, it optimizes the dual-mode audio function and resolves the issue where the Android icon appeared on the home screen after installing an app from Google Play.
• [January 19, 2022]: Realme C12 is receiving a new update that bumps the firmware version to RMX2189_11_C.10. The build carries the December & January 2022 security patch. Also, it brings a few fixes and improves system performance and stability.

• [December 10, 2021]: The Realme C12 is upgrading with the December 2021 security patch. Arriving on the version update RMX2189_11_C.09, the update is rolling out in India. It will soon reach out to other regions as well.
• [November 22, 2021]: Realme is releasing November 2021 security patch update for Realme C12 in India. This update carries the firmware version RMX2189_11_C.09. Also, it fixes system-related issues and improves performance.
• [October 25, 2021]: Realme is rolling out a new update for the C12 smartphone. It carries the firmware version RMX2189_11_C.08 for the Indian units of the smartphone. The device is receiving September 2021 security patch that brings fixes to known issues and optimizes system stability.
• [April 26, 2021]: The Realme C12 is receiving the April 2021 security patch update in India and Europe with a build number RMX2189_11_A.93. It brings system stability and optimizes system performance. The new update is rolling out in India and Europe and will soon reach users in other regions.
• [February 22, 2021]: The stable channel for Realme C15 is rolling out a new update featuring February 2021 Security Patch. Along with the bump in safety level, the update also addresses some bugs and brings fixes for them. Moreover, the package also optimizes the system stability and system performance. Like all the other updates, Realme is sending the updates in a phased manner. As a result, it is expected to reach all the units within a week. You can also check the update status manually by heading over to Settings > Software updates > Check for the updates. We also suggest you switch over to a WiFi network to avoid carrier data charges.
