Samsung kicked-off the year by revealing its Galaxy S21 5G series which comprises three smartphones namely, Samsung Galaxy S21 5G, Samsung Galaxy S21+ 5G and Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G.
Samsung Galaxy S21 5G series is now globally receiving February 2021 Security Patch via OTA. The updated firmware version for this series is G998BXXU1AUB3 which will fix the previously available bugs and add security and performance improvements.
As usual, the update is rolling out in a phased manner. So you can wait for a pop-up notification or you can manually check the updates via Settings -> Software update -> Download.
If we talk about the base model, Samsung Galaxy S21, it carries 6.2 inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection. Taking camera in consideration, S21 indulge triple 12 MP + 64 MP + 12 MP rear camera and a single 10 MP selfie camera. It back-ups 25W fast charging 4000 mAh battery
Up next is, Samsung Galaxy S21+ which houses 6.7 inch screen with same display and protection along with similar lenses. It packs 4800 mAh battery with 25W Fast charging.
Lastly, Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra has a bigger display than Galaxy S21+ i.e; 6.8 inch. Its lenses are upgraded with quad-rear sensors 108 MP + 10 MP + 10 MP + 12 MP and a single 40 MP front camera. It carries a 5000 mAh with 25W fast charging.
Although they all are based on same processor i.e; Qualcomm SM8350 Snapdragon 888 (5 nm) chipset, Octa-core CPU and Mali-G78 MP14 GPU for the US, China and South Korea. They run on Android 11, One UI 3.1. Additionally, this series is available in 128 GB + 8 GB RAM and 256 GB + 8 GB RAM storage variant.
