Vivo S1 Pro launching in Thailand and Philippines on November 20th

After various leaks and rumors, the rebranded V17, aka the Vivo S1 Pro, is finally set to launch in Thailand on November 20th. Almost most of the smartphone details like specifications and features have already surfaced via multiple leaks in the past. As per the official Vivo Thailand and Philippines channel, the new smartphone will launch in respective countries on November 20.

The smartphone even appeared in China’s TENAA this month and revealed all the specs of the device. It will come with a 6.38-inch Super AMOLED display featuring HD+ resolution. There’s an under-display fingerprint reader to facilitate secure authentication. It will be powered by a Snapdragon 665 chipset coupled with an 8GB RAM. The smartphone is said to ship with 128GB internal storage and external storage of upto 256GB. There will be another 8GB RAM + 128GB internal storage variant also.

A massive 4,500 mAh battery will make it withstand two full days of normal usage. The smartphone supports 18W dual-engine fast charging via the USB-C cable. The smartphone will be a mid-budget device in both countries. There’s no word from Vivo on its India launch.

As far as the camera are concerned, there will be a quad-camera module on the rear featuring a 48-megapixel primary camera, 8-megapixel secondary, and other 2-megapixel + 2-megapixel sensors. A 32-megapixel sensor will be embedded on teh front for beautiful selfies and video calling.

Along with the launch in Thailand and Indonesia on November 20th, it is expected to launch soon in China also.
