Asus rolls out Android 11 Stable update to the Asus ZenFone 7 and 7 Pro


A day back, the ZenFone 5Z and ROG Phone 3 has received the February 2021 Security patch update. Asus has now begun rolling out the Android 11 stable update to the Asus ZenFone 7 and ZenFone 7 Pro users. The version number can recognize the update. At present, the company is turning out the update just in the Chinese markets.

Forthcoming to the changelog, it adds a bunch of new features, refreshes UI, brings supports for many functions, updates many applications such as smart housekeeper, contact person, phone, file management, computer, and others. The new features include Notification settings in notification records and dialog settings, nearby sharing option, and others.   7. Added the use of buttons to adjust the volume and return to advanced gesture settings. Adjust the style and automatically switch the color setting of the system. Remove one-handed mode.

  10. Some third-party software is not yet compatible with Android 11
  11. Please backup your data before upgrading. If you want to downgrade from Android 11 to Android 10, you can use the official software package, but all data will be erased
  12. The system update “Wi-Fi automatic download and installation” setting is turned on by default

As said by the company, the update needs to be pushed automatically. Thus, it takes at least one week to reach all the users. You can also update manually by making a feeling to Settings –> About –> System Update. We additionally recommend you to keep up 60% of charging to avoid consequences.
