The fresh software replaces the previous release for the OnePlus 9R. However, the changelog is not as present in detail as the earlier one. OnePlus has shared a crisp note of what changes the smartphone is going to receive after flashing the new package.

According to the changelog, OnePlus addresses some known issues with this build, which ultimately enhances the user experience. Additionally, after flashing the update, the battery life will be boosted as the consumption will be reduced in certain scenarios. The device still holds the May 2021 security patch as the package does not bring the current security maintenance.

As always, the build for the OnePlus 9R will initially roll out to a limited number of users. A border rollout will follow after ensuring that there are no critical bugs. If you own OnePlus 9R, a notification will spring up on the device. Alternatively, you can track the update manually by heading to Settings > Software updates > Check for the updates > Download and install.
