Oppo welcomes Android 11 by extending its beta support on Oppo Find X2

After rolling out consecutive Android 11 developer builds, the search giant has finally revealed Android 11 public beta for Pixel devices. Other OEMs can also bring compatibility for Android 11 Beta as Oppo is doing for its Oppo Find X2. China’s popular smartphone manufacturer has welcomed the Android 11 rollout from Google and even shared a few details about its plans on Android 11 rollout based on ColorOS.

ColorOS is a popular custom Android-based skin available on most of the Oppo smartphones. The company recently unveiled Android 10 based ColorOS 7.2 update with various new improvements and enhancements. The features like Super Power Saver, Intelligent Battery saver, Movie Mode, and Super Night Video Mode along with other refinements are part of the Color OS 7.2.

The ColorsOS principal Engineer, Manoj Kumar explained the popularity of the ColorOS and added, “With a user base of over 350 million, ColorOS is one of the key partners for Google globally. Our consumer insights reveal that users find the ColorOS experience closer to stock Android while welcoming additions we customize for ColorOS specifically.”

Oppo guarantees the Android 11 rollout for Oppo smartphones. Moreover, Android 11 beta will be available for Oppo Find X2 later this month.

The company is closely working with Google in order to enrich the user experience by binding new features with ColorOS. The company is working on CameraX project with Google for enhanced camera capabilities while using third-party apps like Instagram, Snapchat, and others.

Oppo is gradually rolling out ColorOS 7 updates to various smartphones across India, Singapore, Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and some other nations. The monthly security patches for most of the mid-range and high-end smartphones are available on a monthly basis.
