Realme X7 and Narzo 20 Pro fetch February 2021 security patch update

Realme is performing a commendable job in rolling out updates. The Chinese giant is pushing frequent updates to sustain itself in the market. Recently, the company started seeding out February 2021 security patch update to Realme X7 and Realme Narzo 20 Pro.

The latest software drives the firmware version RMX2151PU_11.A.87 to Realme X7. On the other hand, Realme Nazro 20 Pro is bagging RMX2161PU_11.A.87.
Although this is a minor update and does not bring any new features along with it. However, the new software knocks the Android monthly security patch level. Apart from the enhanced security, the build also optimizes the system performance and device stability for a better user experience.

As expected, the update is out via OTA and is being rolled out in a staged manner. So, it may take a while to reach out to your device but as always you can give it a manual check by navigating to the phone’s Settings > Software Update > Check for update > Download and Install.

Realme X7

Realme X7 5G was debuted in September 2020 with an AMOLED 6.4-inch screen. It is fueled by MediaTek MT6873 Dimensity 800U 5G coupled with Android 10, Realme UI. The device is accessible in 128 GB + 6 GB RAM and 128 GB + 8 GB RAM storage variants. It houses a quad-rear camera consisting of 64 MP wide + 8 MP ultrawide + 2 MP macro + 2 MP depth sensors and a single 32 MP wide lens at the front.

Realme Narzo 20 Pro

Nazro 20 Pro was also announced on September’20 packed with Android 10. The phone flaunts a 6.5-inch IPS LCD display with Corning Gorilla glass shield. It powers Mediatek Helio G95 paired with up to 128 GB of storage and 8 GB RAM. Talking about the camera, at the rear the device carries a quad-camera that includes a 48 MP wide, 8 MP ultrawide, 2 MP micro, and a 2 MP depth shooter. For selfies, Realme provided a 16 MP wide lens at the front.
