Realme Q2i, Q2 Pro and Realme V3 gets February 2021 Security Patch update

Realme is giving great competition to other smartphone brands in terms of updates. The company had already rolled out the February security patch to over 30 devices last month, and it’s still continuing. Now, the new software is unfurling to Realme Q2i, Realme Q2 Pro, and Realme V3 5G.

The latest update arrives on firmware version RMX2200_11_A.17 for Realme Q2i and Realme Q2 Pro. On the other hand, for Realme V3, the number varies to RMX2175_11_A.28. The new software is based on Android 10, Realme UI 1.0. Apart from enhanced security, it does not bring any major changes.

Currently, the update is only rolling out in the Chinese market, and other countries are set on hold. Where Realme Q2 Pro is part of the Realme UI 2.0 beta program, the Chinese giant has confirmed that the Realme UI 2.0 update will available soon on Q2i and Realme V3 5G.

Realme Q2i

The smartphone was packed in October last year with MediaTek MT 6853V Dimensity 720 5G and Android 10, Realme UI. Featuring a 6.5-inch screen with an IPS LCD display, the phone is available in a single storage option of 128 GB + 4 GB RAM. It packs a triple rear camera consisting of 13 MP wide + 2 MP macro + 2 MP depth sensors, while on the front, it carries a single 8 MP wide camera.

Realme Q2 Pro was shipped with Q2i fueled by Android 10, Realme UI, and MediaTek MT6853 Dimensity 800U 5G. The phone carries a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display providing two storage variants of 128 GB + 8 GB RAM and 256 GB + 8 GB RAM. In terms of camera, it houses a quad-camera module at the back, indulging 48 MP wide + 16 MP ultrawide + 2 MP depth + 2 MP macro lens. For selfies, the device has a single 16 MP wide camera.

Realme V3

Realme V3 was announced in September 2020, flaunting a 6.5-inch IPS LCD display. It is powered by MediaTek MT6853V Dimensity 720 5G along with Android 10, Realme UI. The phone is accessible in three storage options i.e; 64 GB + 6 GB RAM, 128 GB + 6 GB RAM, and 128 GB + 8 GB RAM. Moving to the lens section, it carries a triple primary camera with 13 MP wide, 2 MP macro, and 2 MP depth sensors. As a secondary lens, it has a single 8 MP wide camera.
