Telegram never fails to amuse users with its new features and improvements. Where the last update arrived with new features including new chat themes, interactive emoji, and more. The latest Telegram 8.2 adds more to it. It carries a bunch of improvements for media management, iOS app, and more.

To begin with, Telegram 8.2 brings a major improvement for media file management. It adds a new date bar on the side of a chat page that allows going through the shared media files quickly. Moreover, you can also zoom in or zoom out on this page for easy access as per concienence. On top, there’s a new calendar view for media files that display pictures and videos in a calendar as on the shared date. You can also filter shared media to show only photos, only videos, or both.

“Every Telegram user has unlimited cloud storage, and each chat has a Shared Media page that shows all the photos, videos, files, and music that have been sent there. We’ve added a new date bar on the side of the page, which you can drag up and down to scroll through shared media faster,” mentions the blog post.

The groups and channel sections of Telegram are also improved with a new “request admin approval” setting. As the name suggests, it gives more control to the admin over who can join and see chats. Also, the invite links can be given specific names for easy recognition.

Furthermore, Telegram 8.2 app for iOS arrives with some additional improvements. This includes easy management for media captions and you can see transit times when someone shares their location. And finally, the settings have been updated to coordinate with the look and feel of iOS 15.
