The Vivo Y15C features a 6.51-inch IPS display and a waterdrop-style notch at the top center. The smartphone offers an HD+ resolution of 720×1,600 pixels and a 20:9 aspect ratio. For software, it runs Android 12 OS out of the box along with a layer of FuntouchOS 12 on top.
Under the hood, the Vivo Y15C will draw power from an octa-core processor based on MediaTek Helio P35 SoC. The phone arrives with 3GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. In addition, a 5,000 mAh battery keeps the system working with a 10W reverse charging support. Interestingly, it is rated to deliver nearly 19 hours of HD movie streaming as well.
In the optics department, the Vivo Y15C houses an 8MP front camera for selfies and video calls. At the back, there’s a dual-camera setup consisting of a 13 MP primary sensor and a 2 MP secondary lens.
The other specifications include a dual-SIM (Nano) support, 4G LTE, microSD card slot, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, FM radio, GPS/ A-GPS, and a Micro-USB port. Lastly, there’s a side-mounted fingerprint sensor to serve security.
Price and Availability
Unfortunately, the price and availability details of Vivo Y15C in India are still undercover. But we know that the phone will arrive in Mystic Blue and Wave Green color options. Also, the price is expected to be close to that of the Vivo Y15s. FYI, the Vivo Y15s costs ₹10,490 for its sole 3GB RAM/ 32GB storage variant.
The Android 12 OS plus Mediatek Helio P35 is going to do some great work here, I guess.
3GB of RAM and 64GB will do good with the help of the Mediatek helio chipset I think. What do you reckon about gaming?
