The formal announcement was made via the OnePlus Community forum. According to the post, the company will only recruit 200 closed beta testers for the program. Also, the selected users will have to sign a non-disclosure agreement with the company. In fact, there are some other requirements as well.

Likewise, these 200 users are expected to stay in touch constantly via Telegram to report bugs/issues/glitches and provide suggestions to the software team. Moreover, they need to be an active member of the OnePlus Community.

Furthermore, OnePlus warns the users that this is a beta build therefore, it will be loaded with bugs and glitches. Accordingly, the user will have to remain patient and “tolerate its instability and accept all risks which might be caused by it.”
