Samsung to unveil the ‘Galaxy dedicated chip’ information at the Galaxy Unpacked 2023

At CES 2023 Samsung expanded its SmartThings line-up. However moving back to the mobile business, The promotional poster of the Galaxy S23 series has already leaked earlier. Also, we tipped the overclocked processor details earlier. Recently, Samsung seems to reveal the date for the Galaxy Unpacked 2023 event accidentally but that gave us the official confirmation that the Galaxy S23 series will launch on February 1, 2023. Now, a new report has arrived revealing that the brand will reveal its dedicated chipset at the Galaxy Unpacked event.

The new report revealed that the President and Head of the Mobile Experience Business at Samsung, TM Roh, will unveil the new and exclusive information on the Galaxy dedicated chip developed by the brand at the Galaxy Unpacked 2023 event. However, we can expect the brand’s new dedicated chip equipped with the Galaxy S25 series in 2025.

As we reached out to you, an Overclocked Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for the Galaxy S23 series will be made by Samsung Foundry, the chip offers up to X-3 core with 3.32GHz CPU frequency. Whereas, the normal processor will have an X-3 core with 3.2GHz CPU frequency.

Galaxy S23 series Specifications

As per TENAA and other certifications, Galaxy S23 Ultra will have a 6.8-inch QHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz screen refresh rate and up to 1750 NITS brightness support. The Galaxy S23 Ultra will feature a 5000 mAh battery and a 45-watt fast charger. It will be equipped with a 108-megapixel + 12-megapixel + 10-megapixel + 2-megapixel quad camera. On the front, it will have a 12-megapixel snapper as a selfie camera. Moreover, it will come with One UI 5.1 based on Android 13.

As tipped earlier, the Galaxy S23 series will have improved cooling functions. The Galaxy S23 will have a 6.1-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a screen refresh rate of 120Hz. It will be loaded with a 3900 mAh battery with a 25-watt fast charger. Whereas, the Galaxy S23+ will have a 6.6-inch FHD+ AMOLED with a 120Hz screen refresh rate. It will have a 4700 mAh battery with a 45-watt fast charge.
