Google adds keyboard shortcuts to quickly edit search queries

Google is geared up to provide its users with more features in every regard. Be it well-being, Gmail animations, call recording, Play Store update, or anything, the company is taking care of all. To all the users, Google has come up with one more tweak on the desktop. Now, the search engine will enable the user to “jump to the search box” within no time with a handy keyboard shortcut. To be more specific, it will be beneficial to refine the original query.

To see it on your own, Press the ‘/’  button on the result page. It will open the search field and allow you to start typing again. The cursor will appear at the end of your existing query as a suggestion load for quick selection with the help of arrow keys.

However, the feature does not work on the homepage where the search field is immediately active on page load.

Google is notifying the users regarding the shortcut via a box that will pop up at the bottom-left corner of the search results page while tapping any key. The feature is having a border rollout today, so check out if the accessibility is available for you!
